Description We were approached by System D  Events to design, manufacture and supply a 'ski bar' for  the winter wonderland Christmas event in Hyde park, London. The main structure of the build was an exposed glulam frame which supported the pitched I Joist roof cassettes above, with the main floor deck also supplied in cassette form.
Within the frame to the rear of the build was a mezzanine floor in which the DJ for the event could set up his equipment overlooking the bar below. The design and manufacture took place at our depot in Lancashire and was shipped down to site for installation. Once erected the building was clad in Larch lap timbers and decorated to give that authentic alpine bar look. The bar played host to 100's of guests throughout the event and was a real stand out attraction during the festive period.
