Client - Sticx Joinery Project Type - I-Joists Description -  This large school building is being erected in the heart of Liverpool near Sefton Park, Wyder were involved in designing, manufacturing and supplying the I-Joist floor cassettes and pitched roof rafters. Due to the size of the building and the spans involved 450mm deep I-joists were tailor-made to order, which required in-depth engineering and design. Cassettes were manufactured and fitted with a Fire Retardant 15mm OSB before being delivered to site for fitting. The roof was made up of 300mm pitched I-Joist rafters which we pre-fabricated with angled cuts where required, the various roof pitches and valleys required some bespoke fixing details and connection plates. The roof was decked with an 18mm Wisa Spruce Ply.
